The Office Communications Server at My Workplace

Recently, the company I work for acquired a new office communications server. Being involved in information technology for the past few years, I knew what it was, but was a little doubtful. I didn’t know whether or not the benefits would outweigh the costs. I didn’t know all the figures, but I know a piece of equipment like that couldn’t be cheap.

To my surprise, it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made. Our new office communications server had helped us in ways that I never imagined. We had always had a few gliches in our file sharing system and with our video conferencing software. The server cleared those up with no problem at all. I was so happy that we made the decision.
