Be careful when you say “yes” to your kids.
Do you have a house full of out of control kids? Maybe you’ve just got one. Sometimes a problem may arise that you don’t foresee. One of our kids is a master at this. If my wife is home, and he asks her for something and she says “no”, he’ll go in the other room and call me. I don’t know what’s going on, so sometimes I’ll say “yes” to the same question. This is not good. It can cause friction between me and my wife, and there is nothing this kid wants more than that. So when your kid calls to ask you a parenting question, think before you answer!
