Is My Boss Having a Business Mid-Life Crisis?
My boss has decided that his employees need to have more education. I guess having 4 years of college courses isn’t enough for him anymore. But that’s okay, because he’s paying for it this time. I think he saw a competitor’s ad requiring a certificate in Linux and he immediately said we all have to get one too. So he’s paying for 50-odd employees to go through Linux certification courses and then for us to take the test. And you know, I don’t think that little piece of paper is going to do any of us any good. But once the boss gets an idea in his head, we’re stuck with it!
