Smart Girls Rely on Women’s Wisdom
If someone asked me what is the most valuable thing my mother gave me I would say it is belief in myself. Mom didn’t have a lot of money and was a single parent, so she tried to make sure I would always make the best decisions. She wanted me to be well-prepared for life. When I had choices to make Mom always said I should look inside first and listen to my own women’s wisdom. Then she told me to bounce my ideas off of my girlfriends and other ladies who cared about me. Her method never failed and I still use it.
