Giving Back
My IRA Contributions for the year totaled more than all of my friends combined and I wasn’t sure why. My friends kept asking me whether or not I had made a mistake and over paid, but I didn’t listen. Instead at the end of the year, when they went through their records and I filed my taxes, I got the biggest refund I had ever received, and it was enough for me and my wife to spend a few months in the Caribbean a few years later. It was the best mistake I had ever made, and we weren’t upset in the slightest.
